2012 SHOWCASE RETREAT

The recent board meeting was a buzz over the planning committee’s Theme for 2012 Showcase Retreat. Last year we went ‘Back to Basics’ – this year we will Let it ‘Bee’ .
There will be two days of sewing and networking for members of MQN. Registration will begin on Friday at 10:00 A.M. and guests can begin sewing in the newly constructed conference room that is twice the size of the area used for sewing last year. (Guest Rooms will be available by 3:00 P.M. or before.)
Plans are underway for classes, demos, several vendors and a new mystery quilt challenge. New this year is a “Bee-tique”which will replace the garage sale.Regions are challenged to make and donate items to be sold in the Bee-tique. ‘Bee’ happy and ‘Bee’ creative! More items being accepted include quality quilting items, wall-hangings, bags, books, fabric cuts, fat quarter size or larger and quilt related notions (new or gently used).

Our Raffle Quilt this year is featured below, tickets are available for $1 each. Please contact your region representatives or a board member for tickets!
