Challenge Entry & Information

This is the 20th Anniversary of the Michigan Quilt Network as most of you know . The colors for any 20th Anniversary are Green and White. The Quilt Show Committee chose those colors for our Showcase Quilt Challenge this year for this reason. We have expanded on those colors just a bit to give you a little more variety to work with. Here are this year's Challenge ru1es.

        1. Make a quilt no larger than 36" x 48" - any shape is fine.

2. Use any shade of green and any shade of neutral. Greens can be anything from yellow green to blue green and all shades in between. Neutrals can be white, beige, grays, tans.

3. Use any technique or combination of techniques you desire.

4. Use a commercial pattern - give credit to the designer on the entry form - OR design something yourself - an original

5.  Feel free to embellish your piece with beads, paints, trims, stitches, found objects. Use whatever you feel adds to your creation.

6. Have fun with this year’s Quilt Challenge.

7. Entry forms must be postmarked no later than July 15th. Send entry forms to: Sherrie Jaqua, 233 S. State St., Oscoda, MI 48750. Use the Quilt Show Entry Form found on the website.
